Make a Difference in a Teen's Life... The WATERTOWN TEEN CENTER is seeking volunteers. Volunteering at the teen center is one of the most significant ways that you can impact the life of a young person. How can you help? By sharing your particular expertise with teens. Whether your talent is cooking, aerobics, art, sports, music, computers, or writing, you have a lot to offer. You can also become a mentor. Mentors are caring adults who are willing to devote an hour or so per week to assist a teen who needs academic tutoring, emotional support or merely friendship. Mentors are great role models for teens. You can teach young adults how to make a difference in their neighborhood through community service projects or offer assistance in putting on a special event or dance by supervising teens, security, refreshments, or other duties. Use your talents, energy, and time to make a difference in a teen's life. To find out about volunteer opportunities, Please Call 315-782-3164. All Applicants will be subject to a Background Check! |
